Ashwini Vaishnav administers oath to officers and employees of Ministry of Information and Broadcasting to promote cleanliness and sustainable practices | News India

New Delhi, September 25 (HS). Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on Wednesday participated in a series of programs as part of the Swachhata Hi Seva, 2024 campaign at the Information Bhavan organized by the Central Bureau of Communication (CBC), emphasizing the importance of cleanliness and environmental management. Continuing the 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' campaign launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Ashwini Vaishnaw also launched a tree plantation campaign, highlighting the dual objectives of cleanliness and environmental protection.

With this, Ashwini Vaishnav administered the oath to the officers and employees of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting at the Information Bhavan, where the participants expressed commitment to promote cleanliness and sustainable practices in their areas of influence. He also distributed saplings to the employees and underlined personal responsibility towards the environment.

Ashwini Vaishnav was accompanied by Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting L. Murugan, Secretary, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Sanjay Jaju, Chairman, Press Council of India, officials of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, officers and employees of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting were also present on the occasion.
