Dhamtari, September 25 (HS). In the era of modernity when tradition, culture and customs are also getting affected, the village Darri situated on the banks of Mahanadi is still preserving the culture. Ram Satta has been organized here continuously for 7 decades. The participation of the villagers in the event is worth seeing. There is a devotional atmosphere in the village during Pitru Paksha.
Even today, in the village Darri adjoining Dhamtari city, the faith and devotion towards the ancestors is being dedicated through Akhand Ramdhuni through Ramsatta during the Pitru Paksha which has been going on for the last 78 years. Prayers are offered to Lord Ram for the happiness, prosperity and peace of the village. This year also, Ramdhuni was started in the main square of the village, keeping up this tradition.
