Nawada, 25 September (HS). A one-day national seminar was organized under the aegis of Internal Quality and Assurance Cell in the auditorium of SN Sinha College, Warisaliganj Nawada, under the patronage of Principal Prof (Dr) Deepak Kumar on Wednesday.
The theme of the seminar was “Globalization: Opportunities and Challenges in the Perspective of Politics, Social Justice and Sustainable Development.” In this seminar, the chief speaker, Principal of TS College Hisua, Prof. (Dr.) Ved Prakash Chaturvedi, discussed in detail the political correlation of globalization and advised the common people not to conform to the demands of the market.
Keynote speaker Dr. Anjani Kumar Ghosh (Associate Professor, Department of Political Science, Magadh University, Bodh Gaya) threw light on the threat to Indian sovereignty: the role of media and capitalists and talked about the gradual reduction of cooperation in public welfare schemes in the government policy. The third keynote speaker Dr. Anil Kumar Patel (Head of Department of Sociology, RMW College, Nawada) gave his lecture on social justice and equality, in which he said that disasters create opportunities.
The fourth keynote speaker Dr. Kumar Varun (Assistant Professor, Hindi Department, AN College, Patna) said that globalization is the basis of the development of capitalists. He threw special light on the impact of globalization on women, Dalits, tribals and Bahujan discussions in human civilization. The college's principal Prof. (Dr.) Deepak Kumar considered the whole world as his family and mentioned the concept of global village.
