Raipur, 25 September (HS). Revenue Minister Tank Ram Verma has said that Chhattisgarh Government is constantly making efforts to provide better employment opportunities to the youth. In this series, training in modern trades is being arranged in the Industrial Training Institutes of Chhattisgarh as per the demand of the industries. He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, 160 ITIs of the state are being developed as model ITIs for employment oriented training for the youth. These ITIs will be modernized in the next three years at a cost of Rs 484 crore. Revenue Minister Verma, while addressing the gratitude conference organized at Government ITI Balodabazar on Wednesday, said that Rs 20 crore 13 lakh 65 thousand have been approved in the first phase to make this institute a model ITI.

Addressing the gratitude conference, Revenue Minister Tank Ram Verma said that the time of student life is very precious. Youths should pay more attention to fulfilling their dreams. Students should work hard with sacrifice and dedication for a better future. He advised the youth to take inspiration from successful people and stay away from social media. Principal of Government Industrial Training Institute, Ajay Garhwal expressed his gratitude to the Revenue Minister for selecting Sakri ITI as the model ITI. On this occasion, Vice President Chhattisgarh Scout and Guide Vijay Kesarwani, SDM Amit Gupta, Tehsildar Raju Patel were present.

It is noteworthy that in order to make the ITI located at Sakri in Balodabazar a model ITI, Rs 1 crore 5 lakhs have been approved for computer hardware and network maintenance, Rs 75 lakhs for electrician, Rs 46 lakhs for filter, Rs 44 lakhs for mechanic diesel, Rs 53 lakhs for welder, Rs 3 crore 44 lakh 59 thousand for new building construction. Apart from this, Rs 7 lakh 42 thousand for guard room construction, Rs 1 crore 25 lakh 28 thousand for motor car parking, Rs 11 crore 75 lakh 56 thousand for construction of staff quarters, Rs 34 lakh 80 thousand have been approved for construction of boundary wall and main gate.
