In the Badlapur encounter case, the Bombay High Court on Wednesday pulled up the Maharashtra Police over the custodial death of Badlapur rape accused Akshay Shinde, saying that there appears to be foul play and a fair investigation is needed into the incident. A division bench of Justice Revati Mohite Dere and Justice Prithviraj Chavan said that if the investigation is not being conducted properly, it will be constrained to pass appropriate orders.
