MP Accident: A truck and a passenger auto collided on Tuesday afternoon near Samanna village of Dehat police station area on Damoh-Katni State Highway in Madhya Pradesh. In which the truck crushed the auto. Seven people died in the accident and three were seriously injured.
Information about who were travelling in the auto has not been received. Collector Sudhir Kumar Kochar and SP Shrut Kirti Somvanshi are sending the injured to Jabalpur Medical College for treatment. For which a corridor has been built from Damoh to Jabalpur.
Emphasis on the convenience of pilot and follow vehicles
Pilot and follow vehicles are also being provided to ensure that there is no obstruction on the route from Damoh to Jabalpur. The ambulance will be able to reach the medical college with the injured on time and their treatment can begin.
On Monday afternoon, as soon as the information of the accident was received, the SDRF team of the rural police station including the Collector and SP reached the spot and pulled out the auto with the help of a crane. Also, the people buried under the truck were immediately brought to the district hospital for treatment, where seven people have been declared dead. At present, three of them have been referred to Jabalpur Medical College as their condition is critical. The dead and injured have not been identified.
Treatment of the injured has begun
The SP said that the auto was registered locally, so it must have been people from the vicinity who were going somewhere in the auto. The first priority is to start immediate treatment of the injured and save their lives.
