ABVP candidates interacted with students, called for 100% voting in DUSU elections | News India

New Delhi, September 24 (HS). Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) has appealed to the students of Delhi University to vote 100 percent in the DUSU elections. ABVP DUSU panel's presidential candidate Rishabh Chaudhary, vice-president candidate Bhanu Pratap Singh, secretary candidate Mitravinda Karnawal and joint-secretary candidate Aman Kapasiya on Tuesday, on the second day of election campaign, visited all the departments and colleges of Delhi University and made them aware of the issues of hostel construction, metro pass, construction of new hostels etc. and appealed to the students to vote 100 percent.

DUSU President candidate Rishabh Chaudhary and DUSU Secretary candidate Mitravinda Karnawal campaigned in North Campus colleges such as Teg Bahadur Khalsa College, Shri Ram College of Commerce, Ramjas College, Kirori Mal College, Hansraj College, Hindu College, etc. and DUSU Vice President candidate Bhanu Pratap Singh and DUSU Joint Secretary candidate Aman Kapasiya campaigned in South Campus colleges such as Sri Venkateswara College, Atmaram Sanatan Dharma College, Motilal Nehru College, Ram Lal Anand College, Shivaji College, Rajdhani, etc. by raising issues raised by ABVP among the students and appealed to them to vote.

ABVP is also raising the issue of effective implementation of National Education Policy prominently. ABVP remains active in DU throughout the year and DUSU candidates are also talking about the positive impact of ABVP's activities on important topics like environment, sports, service work.

ABVP panel's DUSU presidential candidate Rishabh Chaudhary said that we candidates are making a special request to the students during the campaign so that the voting percentage can increase in the DU student union elections. ABVP panel is committed to bring positive change in DU. ABVP is prominently raising the issues of development of basic facilities in the university, we are getting wide support and positive feedback from the students.

In the same sequence, Mitravinda, candidate for the post of secretary in DUSU from ABVP panel, said that girl students have been winning continuously from ABVP panel since 2014. ABVP's manifesto prominently includes various issues related to girl students including safety of girl students in campus, installation of sanitary vending machines. ABVP is getting good support from women colleges of DU. ABVP has done good work for women empowerment.
