Palwal, September 24 (HS). A case has come to light in which the cyber crime police has arrested an accused for cheating people in the name of selling children's toys online. When the police checked the SIM card of the mobile phone recovered from the accused's possession, it was also found to be in the name of some other person from UP. The police have registered a case against the accused under various sections including cheating and have started investigation.

Cyber ​​Crime Station Incharge Naveen informed on Tuesday that his team was at Jayanti Mor of Hathin to prevent cyber crime. At the same time, an informer met him and informed that Mohammad Asif, a resident of Malai village, cheats people by pretending to be an acquaintance using a fake SIM card and commits online fraud. He is currently sitting near the flyover on Hathin bypass and committing fraud.

When his team reached the spot with the informer, the informer pointed towards a boy sitting there and told them about the boy. After which the team raided the spot and took the boy into custody and asked his name and address. He said that he was Mohammed Asif, resident of Malai. When his mobile phone was seized and checked, it was found.

Photos, videos and QR codes of toys were found

Chatting, Facebook ID, photos of children's toys and posts about selling toys were found in it and Instagram ID was found active. On checking the gallery of the phone, photos, videos and QR codes of toys were found. On checking the number, it was found to be in the name of a person from UP. When the accused was asked about it, he could not give any satisfactory answer. A case has been registered against the accused and action has been initiated.
