Saharsa, September 24 (HS). As per the instructions of the District Magistrate, the schemes related to Saat Nischay and other public welfare schemes were reviewed on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Deputy Development Commissioner Sanjay Kumar Nirala. To ensure easy availability of education loan to students, a total of 480 applications have been received so far in the current financial year under the Bihar Student Credit Card Scheme operated through DRCC, out of which 305 have been approved, while 440 and 5229 applications have been received respectively under the Chief Minister Nischay and Self Help Allowance Scheme and Kushal Yuva Program.
Due to low achievement in the Student Credit Card Scheme last month and fall in the district's ranking, instructions have been given to seek clarification from the manager DRCC. For the smooth implementation of the Har Ghar Nal Ka Jal scheme, the responsible executive engineer of PHED was directed to obtain and submit reports from all ward representatives regarding water supply in all wards of the district. Instructions were also given for prompt and timely disposal of complaints received on the departmental portal.
Instructions were given to ensure the supply of water to the last end of all canals under the Har Khet Tak Sinchai Ka Paani Yojana implemented by the Irrigation Division Saharsa. Regarding the low ranking of the district under the scheme, instructions have been given to seek reasons from the Executive Engineer, Minor Irrigation and Irrigation Division Saharsa and they have been directed to take necessary action soon to improve it.
