Rajgarh, 23 September (HS). In village Khuchni of Suthalia police station area, a family opened fire on a dispute regarding a boundary wall, in which a woman was killed and her two sons were seriously injured. Police have arrested eight accused in the case, from whose possession a 12 bore gun with cartridges has been seized, while one accused is still absconding.
Beawar SDOP Neha Gaur said on Monday that on September 11, Ramesh, son of Mathuralal Meena, resident of village Khuchni, had filed a complaint that in a land dispute, Ram Prasad of the village, his nephew Pappu, Mithun, Mangilal, Sonu, Pappu, Shivraj, Manoj and Suresh came in front of his house with sticks, axes and guns and started abusing him. When he protested, they fired three-four rounds from their guns, in which his wife Rupvati was shot in the stomach and his sons Sarwan and Vinod were hit by bullet splinters, due to which Rupvati died while undergoing treatment in the hospital. Police have registered a case against nine accused in the case under sections 103(1), 109, 191(3), 296, 351(3) BNS. During the investigation, a team formed under the guidance of senior officers raided various places and arrested Sonu (32) son of Harbagus Meena resident of Chachaida, Shivraj (50) son of Ramsingh Meena resident of Dehri police station Chachaida, Pappu (37) son of Harbagus Meena resident of Chapankala police station Chachaida, Ram Prasad (60) son of Ranglal Meena resident of Khuchni, Manoj (20) son of Jaynarayan Meena resident of Dehri, his brother Suresh, Mangilal (65) son of Ranglal Meena resident of Khuchni and Mithun (28) son of Mangilal Meena resident of Khuchni, while Pappu Meena resident of Khuchni is still absconding.
