Harda, 23 September (HS). Durgadas Uike, Minister of State for Scheduled Tribes Affairs, Government of India, inaugurated the 34th Sub Junior State Level Kho-Kho Competition held at Nehru Stadium on Monday. This three-day competition will continue till 25 September. On this occasion, Union Minister Mr. Uike said that the Government of India is working for the development of sports and players.
Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Indian players have performed commendably in international sports competitions including Olympic Games in the recent past and have won more medals than before. During this, former minister Kamal Patel and District Panchayat Vice President Darshan Singh Gehlot along with other public representatives and sports lovers were present. Teams from more than a dozen districts of the state including Maihar, Balaghat, Satna, Narsinghpur, Khargone, Rewa, Mandla, Bhopal, Shahdol, Sehore, Raisen, Khandwa, Jabalpur participated in the competition.
