Hamirpur, 23 September (HS). Along with fever, the outbreak of dengue is also increasing in the district. On Monday, a larger number of fever patients arrived at the district hospital than usual. Serious patients are being admitted to the hospital. So far, the number of dengue fever patients in the district has reached 56.
Dr. Brajendra Singh Rajput, in-charge of Community Health Center Muskara, said that at present a large number of fever patients are coming to the hospital every day. Serious patients coming are being admitted to the hospital. With the change in weather in the district, the outbreak of fever is increasing rapidly. Every day 150 to 200 fever patients are coming to the OPD of the hospital. They are being examined. Some patients are also having low platelet count.
Dr. Brajendra Singh Rajput said that people are being made aware to prevent dengue. Use mosquito net while sleeping at night. Drink coconut water. In case of fever, contact the nearest health center.
