New Delhi, September 23 (HS). Union Energy Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said that we have prepared the National Electricity Plan in 100 days. It will be formally announced within 15 days. He said that the country has a plan to generate 425 gigawatt electricity by 2030 and 458 gigawatt electricity by 2032. Union Energy Minister Manohar Lal Khattar was addressing the journalists on Monday regarding the work plan during the first hundred days of the third term of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Earlier, he inaugurated the Power Grid Cyber Security System at the Northern Regional Power Committee (NRPC) campus located in Qutub Institutional Area here.
On this occasion, Union Energy Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said that cyber security system is being adopted keeping in mind the need to protect the country's power system. Referring to an incident of cyber attack on All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in the past few days, he said that cyber security is needed to avoid such threats. He said that the technical team working to protect the power grid system will protect not only the power grid of the Center but also the states from attacks.
