Political rally in Poonch: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Monday campaigned for the party's candidate Shahnawaz Choudhary in Surankote, Poonch, Jammu and Kashmir for the second phase of the assembly elections. 'Modi is no longer Modi'- Rahul Gandhi
Addressing a rally in Surankot, Rahul Gandhi said, “You must have seen the earlier Narendra Modi, who had a 56-inch chest, it is clearly visible that the earlier Narendra Modi is no longer the Narendra Modi of today. Today, whatever the opposition wants to do, we get it done. They make laws, we oppose them, then they make new laws. Now their confidence is gone. We have broken the psychology of Narendra Modi. During the elections, he had said that I am not biological at all, I have a direct connection with the top, to put it simply, there is so much pressure on the Bharat Alliance that it has broken Narendra Modi mentally. We have defeated hatred without hating.”

Rahul Gandhi further said, 'In India, the Union Territory has been given the status of a state. Apart from this, it has also happened many times that the state has been divided into two parts. But here for the first time a state has been made a Union Territory. Your democratic rights have been taken away from you. For the first time a state has been told that now you will not be a state but a Union Territory, so our first demand is that your state should be given back to you. We will put pressure on them to work, if these people do not work then we will complete the work.'
Rahul Gandhi targeted BJP
Rahul Gandhi attacked the BJP and said, 'They have spread unemployment in the whole country, they are benefiting the billionaires, they are waiving their loans, they have also wiped out those people who were giving employment to the country. This has created a situation where there is no employment anywhere in India. The same situation is here in Jammu and Kashmir.'
Rahul Gandhi further said, 'If the youth here need employment, the Modi government will not be able to provide employment. You have no interference in running your government, your government runs from Delhi, we want your government to run from Jammu and Kashmir. We tried to get statehood before the elections, but they did not allow it.'
Rahul Gandhi further said, 'They work to divide. Wherever they go they create division and conflict. Here also they did the same. I want to say that their project will fail. We will take everyone along and move forward for the rights of all. For us everyone is equal. We will take everyone forward with love.'
