New Delhi: Former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who is out on bail in the excise policy scam, and the Aam Aadmi Party organised a Jan Adalat programme at Jantar Mantar. Addressing the programme, Kejriwal attacked Narendra Modi and said that the AAP government in Delhi has contributed a lot in all areas including education and health in 10 years, due to which Modi has started feeling that if he has to be defeated, he will have to attack his honesty. And that is why he falsely accused us of corruption. RSS is like a mother to BJP but today BJP is threatening its mother. Along with this, Kejriwal asked five sharp questions to the Sangh President.
BJP President JP Nadda had earlier said that BJP does not need RSS, Kejriwal took a dig at BJP citing Nadda's statement. Along with this, Kejriwal asked five questions to Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) President Mohan Bhagwat. Kejriwal asked the Sangh President that Modi is trying to break the opposition leaders by showing the fear of ED and CBI across the country. Governments are falling, does Mohan Bhagwat believe that what is happening is good for Indian democracy?
While asking the second question, Kejriwal said that Modi is inducting the most corrupt leaders of the country into the BJP, the leaders whom Modi and Amit Shah first called corrupt and later inducted them into the BJP, does RSS President Bhagwat agree with this kind of politics? He asked the third question that BJP was born from RSS, so it is the responsibility of the RSS to ensure that BJP walks on the right path, did Bhagwat tell Modi that you should not go on the wrong path. While asking the fourth question, Kejriwal said that Nadda says that now BJP does not need the RSS, the RSS is like a mother to the BJP, did Bhagwat not feel hurt by such statements? He remained silent, did the RSS workers not feel hurt?
Kejriwal asked the fifth and last question to RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat and said that BJP and RSS have made a rule to retire their leaders after 75 years. Senior leaders like Lalu Krishna Advani and Murli Manohar Joshi were dismissed under this rule, however now Amit Shah says that this rule will not apply to Modi. Is this correct? This rule will not apply to Modiji? Through these five questions, Kejriwal has raised serious questions on the relationship between BJP and RSS and the role of RSS towards the leadership.
I am not thick-skinned, that's why I am hurt by false allegations of corruption: Kejriwal
Kejriwal, referring to the corruption charges against him in the Delhi Excise Policy scam, said that if he had done corruption, 10 bungalows and houses would have been built in 10 years, but I have earned the love of the public in 10 years, BJP people say that when I make some difference, I become corrupt and a thief and I feel sad because I do not have a thick skin. I resigned from the post of Chief Minister because I did not sit on this chair with the stain of corruption, now the court of the people will decide whether I am worthy of sitting on this chair or not, if I am not honest, then will free electricity, free bus travel for women, and good schools for children and people will get better health facilities? If you think I am honest, then vote for me.
