Chandigarh: Punjab government has got a big relief from the High Court. Punjab and Haryana High Court has given the green signal to the recruitment of 1158 assistant professors and librarians. The double bench cancelled the order of the single bench to cancel this recruitment. Let us tell you that out of these recruited two years ago, 484 have not got posting till date.
They were considered employees of the Punjab government but were not getting salary. Only 135 have been posted and are getting salary, the rest were waiting for the decision of the High Court. Actually, the case of these recruitments of 2021 was pending in the High Court. A single bench had rejected all these recruitments last year.
