Prime Minister Narendra Modi while addressing the Indian community in New York, USA on Sunday said that today India is playing a big role in global development, peace, climate action, skills and strengthening the supply chain. India's aim behind this is not to increase pressure in the world but to increase influence. We are like the sun who gives light. We do not want to dominate the world, we want to increase our cooperation in the prosperity of the world.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the Indian community during his US visit today at a program titled 'Modi and America' held in Long Island, New York. During this, he announced that Indian Consulates General will be opened in Houston and Los Angeles and Tiruvalluvar Chair of Tamil Studies will be started in Houston University.

Linking India-US relations to modern technological development Artificial Intelligence (AI), he said that it is a symbol of Aspirational India. He said that AI means American Indian, which is taking the relations of the two countries to new heights.

The Prime Minister called the return to power for the third time historic and linked it to his vision and called it 'Pushp'. He said that 'Pushp' (PUSHP) means Progressive India, Unstoppable India, Spiritual India, Humanity First India and Prosper India. That is, India is moving ahead with the values ​​and dreams of progress, continuity, spirituality, humanity and prosperity.

Describing the Indian community living in America as the national ambassadors of India, he said that they are still connected to their roots. He said that there is no sea in the world so deep that it can take these Indians who have come across the seven seas away from their identity. The Indian community living here speaks different languages ​​but their sentiment is one – Bharat Mata ki Jai.

Referring to India's global policy, the Prime Minister said that today when India says something, the world listens. Till now we used to keep a distance from everyone but now we are keeping close to everyone. We believe that knowledge is to be shared with others, wealth is to take care of others and power is to protect everyone.

In his speech he mentioned the victory of the Indian team in the Chess Olympiad and also said that in 2036 we will witness the Olympic Games in India.

Regarding the daily routine, the Prime Minister said that we can help the environment a lot by making small changes in our lifestyle. Nowadays, a tree is being planted in the name of mother in India. If mother is alive, take her with you, if she is not alive, take her picture, this campaign is going on in every corner of the country today.

During his address, PM Modi also presented the picture of changing India. He said that in the last 10 years, one university has been built every week in India. Two new colleges have been built every day and one new ITI has been established. Talking about infrastructure, today our railway stations and airports are being solarized. A large number of green jobs are being created in India. 21st century India is moving ahead in the direction of education, skill, research. Modi said that we have chosen the path of green transition. The values ​​of love for nature have guided us, so we are investing in solar, green hydro, nuclear energy.

The Prime Minister further said that till now a semi-conductor unit has also been started in India. The day is not far when you will see Made in India chips even in America. People in India have e-wallets in their phones. Indians no longer keep their documents in physical folders, they now have DigiLocker. India is not going to stop now, it is not going to pause. Modi said that we worked on Made in India technology. Today India is the second largest mobile manufacturer in the world. We have now become a mobile exporter. India has given the new concept of Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) to the world.
