Kolkata, September 21 (HS). Trinamool Congress leader Anubrata Mandal is returning to Birbhum before Durga Puja. After his bail was approved on Friday, Trinamool workers offered prayers in temples from Saturday morning. Jaggery, batasha and sweets were distributed while playing dhak in the Rakshakalitala temple complex of Siuri. Anubrata's supporters are naturally happy with his bail. Before the puja, Anubrata Mandal will return home with his daughter. For this reason, there is an atmosphere of preparation in the area of Birbhum. Painting work has started in the house of Trinamool leader Anubrata Mandal (Kesto). Cleaning and cutting of grass and leaves is also going on.
Two years ago in the month of August, Anubrata was arrested by the CBI in the cow smuggling case. After this, the new destination of Anubrata, a resident of Nichupatti in Bolpur, became Asansol jail. From there, the ED took the Trinamool leader into its custody and then he was sent to Tihar Jail. Anubrata's daughter Sukanya Mandal was also called to Delhi for questioning in the same case. Later, she was also arrested and sent to Tihar Jail. About a week ago, Sukanya's bail was granted and now Anubrata is also coming out of jail. On Saturday, the special court of Rouse Avenue Court in Delhi granted bail to the Trinamool leader. He will have to pay a bond of Rs 10 lakh and some conditions have also been imposed with the bail.
