Purnia, September 21 (HS). The District Magistrate of Purnia held a review meeting of the special campaign to make cards under Ayushman Bharat and Chief Minister Jan Arogya Yojana. District Supply Officer, District Panchayat Raj Officer, DPM State Health Committee and DPC Ayushman Bharat along with other concerned officials were present in the meeting.
The District Magistrate directed that the work of making Ayushman Bharat cards should be started at all the Public Distribution System shops from 8 am from 23 to 25 September 2024. He ordered to ensure the timely presence of VLE and take action against those who are negligent. Panchayat Raj representatives, Jeevika Didi and Asha workers were instructed to encourage eligible beneficiaries to get the cards made. Vehicles of primary health centers were asked to be used for publicity of the scheme.
The District Magistrate clarified that Ayushman cards will be made for all the members registered in the ration card, not just the head of the family. He said that Ayushman card holders can get free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh per year in affiliated government and private hospitals. The government's goal is to cover all the left out eligible beneficiaries under the Chief Minister Jan Arogya Yojana. Therefore, during this special campaign, emphasis was laid on making cards for as many people as possible.
