Therefore, the Delhi government can also allot him a house but according to the rules, he will get a small house as an MLA. Also, he can be allotted a bungalow as the president of a national party.
Provision for allotment of residences and offices in Delhi
There is also a provision to allot accommodation and office to state level parties in Delhi. State level parties recognized by the Election Commission are allotted accommodation on the recommendation of the Cabinet's Housing Committee and the number of its members in both the Houses of Parliament. Such parties must have seven members in both the Houses of Parliament for allotment. For office, these parties have been allotted office and accommodation in Vitthalbhai Patel House itself. They are given a double suite as accommodation.
