Chhatarpur: Miscreants stabbed a person and opened fire at the bus stand, creating panic

Chhatarpur, March 7 (HS). There was chaos at the city's bus stand on Thursday evening when some unknown miscreants first attacked a person with a knife and then opened fire in the air. The accused managed to escape from the spot after committing the incident. While escaping, the miscreants also fired at another taxi. It was fortunate that the taxi driver narrowly escaped being shot. After getting information about the incident, CSP and Kotwali police station in-charge reached the spot. After admitting the injured person to the district hospital, the police has started investigating the case.

According to the information received, at around 4.30 pm, the miscreants reached the bus stand riding on two bikes and stabbed an employee of a bus company working there. After the stabbing, the miscreants fired two rounds in the air, creating an atmosphere of chaos at the bus stand. After committing this incident, when the miscreants were running away, they also fired at another taxi on the way. It was fortunate that instead of hitting the taxi driver, the bullet got stuck in the taxi and the driver narrowly escaped injury. The name of the person who was injured by stabbing is Bhim son of Chhidde Ahirwar, age 25 years, resident of Matavana Mohalla Chhatarpur. The injured Bhim Ahirwar is an employee of a bus company. The name of the taxi on which the bullet was fired is Suresh.

As soon as information about the incident was received, CSP Aman Mishra, Kotwali police station in-charge Arvind Kujur along with the police force reached the spot and injured Bhim Ahirwar was taken to the district hospital. After inspecting the incident site, the police reached the hospital and took the statement of the injured. Kotwali police station in-charge Arvind Kujur has said that the incident was caused due to a dispute over bus operation.
