Ranchi, September 21 (HS). Internet service has been suspended in Jharkhand since 8 am today in view of the Jharkhand Graduate Level Combined Competitive Examination (JGGLCCE). This situation will remain the same tomorrow as well. The government had said on Friday that in view of this examination, it has been decided to suspend internet service from 8 am to 1.30 pm on Saturday and Sunday.
After this, Principal Secretary of Home, Jail and Disaster Management Department, Vandana Dadel issued orders to suspend internet service. 823 examination centers have been set up in the entire state. About six lakh 40 thousand candidates are appearing in this examination in the state. The Home Department order states that complaints of paper leak etc. have been received earlier through mobile phones, internet media, Whatsapp, X, Telegram and YouTube etc. Therefore, it was decided to suspend internet service. It has been told that the state government does not want to leave any chance for all these mediums. For this purpose, it has been decided to shut down internet and mobile data, Wi-Fi etc. during the examination period.
