Dehradun, September 21 (HS). The Gaurikund-Kedarnath walking route suddenly collapsed near the Bhairav temple in Chidwasa on Saturday morning. After which an alternative route was arranged. There is no loss of life or property.
According to the information received from the State Disaster Operations Center, it was reported at 3.10 am today that about 15 m of road at Chidbasa on the Gaurikund-Kedarnath road has been completely destroyed. SDRF and NDRF teams reached the spot. An alternative route has been opened for movement. There is a problem in exchanging information due to lack of network in Lincholi and Kedarnath area.
It is being told that there are around 2500 pilgrims coming down from Kedarnath. They are currently between Bhim Bali and Lincholi.
