Fatehabad, September 20 (HS). District Election Officer and DC Mandeep Kaur said that the Election Commission of India has made all the important work related to the election process online. These include the facility of digital voter identity card or electronic electoral photo ID card i.e. e-EPIC. If the voter's voter ID is lost somewhere or he wants to save a digital copy of the voter card, then he can easily download his voter card on mobile or computer from the Voter Helpline App or the Election Commission's website www.voters.eci.gov.in.
Digital voter card e-EPIC can also be uploaded in Digi Locker. Apart from this, it can also be printed. He said that e-EPIC voter card is a non-editable PDF version of the original voter ID card. The PDF version of the voter ID can also be used as address proof along with identity. This digital ID proof can be stored in a mobile phone or DigiLocker for easy access.
Giving information about the process of downloading e-EPIC, the District Election Officer said that the person has to visit the voter service portal. Choose the correct option from the many options suggested there. The new user has to register first. After that, click on the option to download e-EPIC. After this, enter the e-EPIC number or form reference number. Now an OTP will come on your registered mobile number and after this the option to download e-EPIC will appear. From where the voter can download his e-EPIC.
