MP Navneet Rana received death threat through audio message on WhatsApp, police registered case against unknown person

Amravati: Amravati MP Navneet Rana has been threatened with death by sending an audio message on WhatsApp. The police have registered an FIR against an unknown person in the case and started investigation. Let us tell you that MP Navneet Rana and her MLA husband Ravi Rana came into limelight in April 2022 for reciting Hanuman Chalisa outside the private residence of the then Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray in Mumbai. Mumbai Police has registered a case of treason against the couple and arrested them. Police had said that on March 3, a threatening audio message was sent to MP Rana.

In the message, the accused has used objectionable language against MP Rana, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat. Actress-turned-politician Navneet Rana defeated Shiv Sena leader Anandrai Adsul in 2019. He has also claimed to contest from Amravati (reserved) seat in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
