A railway official said that many trains will remain cancelled on Friday as well and the rest will be diverted. He said that trains reached Agra with a delay of 6 to 8 hours. 1820 tons of coal was obtained from the soil
It is believed that it may take a long time to complete the work of up mainline and down mainline. 1820 tonnes of coal loaded in the goods train overturned and got buried in the soil at the spot itself. This coal was brought in the goods train from Surajpur Road of Bilaspur Railway Division of Chhattisgarh. It was to be delivered to Suratgarh Thermal Power Plant in Rajasthan. According to a railway official, it will take two more days to completely clear the track from the incident site. Many trains will be operated by the railways through a diverted route.
