A 19-year-old woman working as a food delivery executive in Chennai made headlines when she committed suicide by hanging herself at her home after a female customer scolded her for the delay in food delivery. The police have also found a suicide note from the house of this teenager named Pavithran, which read, 'I am taking this step due to the behavior of the female customer. I became depressed after being scolded by a female customer. As long as there are such women, more deaths will occur.' Pavithran was a B.Com student and the incident of delayed food delivery took place on September 11. He had gone to Korattur area of Chennai for food delivery but when he did not find the customer's house, the customer scolded him for the delay in delivery and also lodged a complaint on the food delivery app. Two days later, Pavithran pelted stones at the customer's house and broke the windows, after which the customer complained to the police against him. On Wednesday, the police found Pavithran hanging.
