Surat News: An incident has come to light in which a youth living in Katargam area committed suicide after being harassed by a cyber gang which blackmailed him by making obscene videos. The police investigated this entire incident in depth and Katargam police conducted an operation in Govindgarh taluka of Alwar district of Rajasthan and arrested two people including a 17-year-old minor.
According to information, a 23-year-old youth living in Katargam area committed suicide by hanging himself. The family was shocked by the suicide of the youth working in a jewellery shop, as there was apparently no problem.
In the morning, when the postmortem of this young man's body was going on, the deceased's phone rang. The deceased's cousin picked up the phone. Unaware of the young man's death, the gang directly talked about money and asked the cousins to transfer money. When a 23-year-old youth checked his mobile phone, he found out that he was being blackmailed to commit suicide. There were also messages blackmailing him and demanding ransom.
4500 rupees were deposited in an unknown account from the account, the family reached the police station, the police registered a case and investigated and a police team reached Alwar district of Rajasthan. Here in Chhatarpur, Barakat Kalu Khan of the blackmailer gang and a 17-year-old minor were arrested.
A team of Katargam police reached Alwar in Rajasthan in search of the accused. The police returned by bike to find the accused and stayed there in disguise for five consecutive days. Five mobile phones have been recovered from the accused. There is also Rs 93 thousand in his account, which has been seized.
At present, the accused are on five-day remand. At present, the police have done a thorough investigation in this case. Surat Police Commissioner Anupam Singh Gehlot said that if anyone falls victim to such a gang, then they should immediately contact the police without any fear and the police will definitely help them.
