Hamirpur, 19 September (HS). On Thursday, a young girl committed suicide by hanging herself in a village of Jalalpur police station area. She was asking money from her mother to buy a mobile. When she did not get the money, she hanged herself in her room. As soon as the family members came to know, they took her down and rushed her to the hospital. Where the doctor declared her dead after examination.
The police reached the spot on information and took the body into custody and sent it for postmortem. The incident is from Barhara village of Jalalpur police station in Rath area. The deceased has been identified as Anita (19). Anita's father has already died. Family members said that Anita was insisting on her mother Sampatrani to buy her a mobile phone. But her mother refused to buy a mobile phone for Anita. After this, there was a dispute and quarrel between the two. After which, the hurt Anita committed suicide by hanging herself.
Family members said that Anita's marriage was fixed with a young man named Pushpendra, a resident of Panwadi in Mahoba district. Her marriage was also fixed in the coming month of October. This sudden incident has created a furore in the family of the deceased Anita and apart from the deceased's mother Sampatrani, elder sister Roshni, brother Devisharan and Jagveer, all other family members are crying inconsolably. Jalalpur police station in-charge said on Thursday that the Panchnama of the deceased girl's body has been filled and sent for post-mortem.
