Dehradun, September 19 (HS). Police has arrested the fourth absconding accused of the assault incident that took place on August 21 from Punjab. Three accused have already been arrested and sent to jail in this case.
An FIR was lodged in the Rajpur police station by Sachin Mall, a resident of Chidowali, Dehradun, in which he alleged that his brother-in-law Anil Singh and brother Sarendra Mall were attacked by 10-15 unknown persons near Kalagaon and Krishali Chowk.
Considering the seriousness of the incident, SSP Dehradun formed a special team to arrest the accused. The team scanned more than 300 CCTV footage and questioned more than 800 people. After these efforts, Sunil Kumar, Naman Singh and Shishir Adhikari have already been arrested.
The police have now arrested the fourth absconding accused Vicky from Punjab. The police team comprised Sub-Inspector Shoaib Ali and Constable Vishal.
