New Delhi: The controversy that started between film actress and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut and Sikh leaders over the film 'Emergency' is not taking the name of stopping. Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) President Harmeet Singh Kalka has announced to send a legal notice to film actress and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut.
“Character assassination of a Sikh saint cannot be allowed”
Kalka said, “An attempt has been made to tarnish the image of Sikhs in Ranaut's film Emergency. That is why Sikhs are protesting against the film. After this, they are making controversial statements about Sikhs.”
Kangana Ranaut can do any film or play any character, but she cannot be allowed to kill the character of any Sikh saint or warrior.
Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale was a religious person
He said, “Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale was a religious person. He never demanded Khalistan. The comments made against him have angered Sikhs.”
He said that Kangana Ranaut may have any misconceptions in her mind but her public statements against Sikh warriors will not be accepted under any circumstances.
He has demanded the top leadership of BJP to explain to Kangana. Her controversial statements against the patriotic community should stop.
District court sent notice regarding 'emergency'
It is worth noting that the opposition to the film 'Emergency' is continuously increasing. Earlier, a district court in Chandigarh has issued a notice to actress Kangana Ranaut regarding her controversial film 'Emergency'. Advocate Ravinder Singh Bassi, former president of the District Bar Association, has filed an application claiming that the actress has played the role of Sikhs in her film.
