Himesh Reshammiya Father Death: Playback singer and composer Himesh Reshammiya's father and renowned music director Vipin Reshammiya has passed away at the age of 87. The late music director and producer breathed his last on September 18 (Wednesday) at 8:30 pm. Vipin was admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai. Himesh's father was reportedly suffering from breathing problems and age-related health issues.
According to a report in Times of India, Himesh Reshammiya's family friend and fashion designer Vanita Thapar has confirmed the demise of his father Vipin Reshammiya. “Yes, he was having trouble breathing,” Thapar told ETimes. She added that the fashion designer was like family to her and she had a fatherly relationship with the late music director, Vipin Reshammiya. “I used to call him papa when he was making TV serials. Later he became a music director and then Himesh followed in his footsteps…” she told the portal.
Reportedly, Himesh's father Vipin's last rites will be performed on September 19 in Juhu, Mumbai. Himesh considered his father as his guru and gave him the status of 'God'. In such a situation, Himesh is heartbroken after his father's death.
Let us tell you that Vipin Reshammiya worked as a producer in The Xpose (2014) and Tera Suroor (2016). His son Himesh Reshammiya made a lot of headlines with these films. Vipin composed music for an unreleased film called 'Insaaf Ka Suraj' (1990). Reportedly, the Naam Hai Tera singer once shared that his father, Vipin Reshammiya and Salman Khan were supposed to star in a film and that is how he met the superstar. After his father Vipin introduced him to acting, Himesh got his big break as a music director in Salman and Kajol's 1998 film Jab Pyar Kiya To Darna Kya.
