Kishanganj, 18 September (HS). District Magistrate Vishal Raj distributed free battery operated tricycles among 42 mobile disabled people on the basis of eligibility under the Disabled Empowerment Scheme Sambal Yojana at the Buniyad Center located at the block headquarters.
In the said tricycle distribution, there were 06 beneficiaries from Bahadurganj Block, 06 from Dighalbank, 09 from Kochadhaman, 09 from Tedhgach, 07 from Thakurganj and 05 from Kishanganj. The DM inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp. District Magistrate Vishal Raj and Assistant Director, Disabled Empowerment Cell Ravishankar Tiwari were honored by DPM Noorie Begum by presenting a bouquet. Thereafter, a brief introduction of the scheme was given by them.
