Due to this, Ganga is flowing above the danger mark in Badaun, Ghazipur, Ballia and Farrukhabad. The ghats have become completely submerged due to the continuously rising water level in Kanpur, Kanpur Dehat and Varanasi.
Due to the rising water level of the Ganga river, the officials of the Uttar Pradesh Irrigation Department have evacuated the rural areas along the river. So far, more than three hundred villages have been completely evacuated. So that there is no loss of life and property while dealing with a flood-like situation.
UP's Jalshakti Minister Swatantradev Singh has given instructions to stop erosion in view of the increasing danger of rivers. Irrigation department engineers and officers have been asked to keep an eye on the rising water level of Ganga. Swatantradev Singh himself is also taking information about the daily condition of the rivers.
According to the irrigation department of Uttar Pradesh, the water level of the Ganga river is below the danger mark in Prayagraj, Kannauj, Raebareli. Despite this, the danger of flood and erosion is being monitored in the rural areas. Full preparations have been made to deal with any situation. Similarly, where the Ganga is now above the danger mark, the villages on the river bank have been evacuated.

The water level of Ghaghra river, which flows in the riverbed of the second largest river in the state, has become more than normal. The water level of Ghaghra river has crossed the danger mark at Tutripar in Ballia, main ghat in Ayodhya, Elginbridge in Barabanki. Ghaghra river has affected the villages of Barabanki and Ayodhya. Many villages have been completely submerged.
