Took money in the name of creating gaming ID

A class 7 student in Lucknow lost Rs 5 lakh by playing online games. The student's family came to know about this when they checked the online transaction. Money was transferred from the student in the name of creating a gaming ID, in which the student used his parents' banking app. At present, the student's parents have lodged a case at Indira Nagar police station. According to the information received, the minor living in Indira Nagar police station area of ​​​​Lucknow is a class 7 student in a private school. Her father is an officer in a government department. The student is fond of playing online games. Apart from his parents' mobile, he used to play games with the help of computer as well.

Used banking apps

A class 7 student received a message from a person named Prakash Mehra asking him to create a gaming ID to cross a new stage of the game and when asked, he was told that with the new ID he would be able to win big prizes. Falling into Prakash's trap, the student started transferring money to the accused's bank account without informing the family. For this, he used his parents' banking app.

The police investigated

According to the family, the student transferred money to Prakash's account for the first time on August 24. He sent money several times between August 24 and September 4. On checking the bank details, it was found that Rs 2 lakh 30 thousand were transferred from the mother's account and about Rs 2 lakh 60 thousand were transferred from the father's account. After this, a case was registered under the IT Act in Indira Nagar police station. This incident has brought grief to the family. They have appealed to the police to get the money back.
