Bhopal, September 18 (HS). President Draupadi Murmu is coming to Madhya Pradesh today (Wednesday) on a two-day visit. These two days will be special for Indore. Indore will host the President for these two days. During this time, she will also visit Ujjain and have darshan of Lord Mahakal.
According to the proposed program, President Draupadi Murmu will arrive in Indore this evening. On the first day, she will reach Mriganyani Madhya Pradesh Emporium and meet the National Award and Padma Shri awarded craftsmen and artisans of the state, who have earned fame with their skills. She will also observe the traditional, artistic Maheshwari, Chanderi, Kosa etc. sarees of the state. The President will stay overnight in Indore itself.
President Murmu will leave for Ujjain on 19 September in the morning and will participate in the program organized there. The President will also visit the world famous Lord Mahakaleshwar Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas. The President will interact with and felicitate sanitation workers at the Rudraksh Hotel premises in Ujjain. The President will also perform the Bhoomi Pujan of Ujjain-Indore Sixlane in Ujjain, visit Shrimahakal Lok and interact with the sculptors of Shrimahakal Lok. In the afternoon, President Draupadi Murmu will return to Indore and attend the convocation of Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya Indore. After this, the President will leave Indore in the evening.
