Senior Congress leader Manoj Rathi has claimed that making Congress candidates victorious in Hansi and other assembly constituencies of the state is the aim of every Congress. He said that the time has come to settle accounts for the atrocities that farmers, employees, laborers, Anganwadi workers, Asha workers, Congressmen and other agitating sections have suffered during the 10 years of BJP rule.
Manoj Rathi was talking to journalists on Tuesday. He said that after not getting the ticket, he and many other colleagues had filed nomination as independent candidates. He said that if he had contested the election, the votes would have been divided and in some way or the other, BJP candidate Vinod Bhyana would have benefited, which not only any Congressman but also any citizen of Hansi does not want. In such a situation, he has withdrawn his nomination in accordance with the public sentiments of the area and now he will go not only to Hansi but also to other assembly constituencies, wherever he will be needed or on duty, and will contribute in making the Congress candidates victorious so that this party can be thrown out of power by defeating each and every candidate of the BJP.
Manoj Rathi said that the condition of the BJP candidate in Hansi assembly constituency has become public. When the people of the area ask some questions to MLA Vinod Bhyana, he gets agitated and says that don't vote, why are you fighting. He said that the MLA should understand well that the people of Hansi are not fighting but demanding answers to the false claims of the MLA and BJP. He claimed that the departure of BJP in Haryana and the arrival of Congress with full majority has become clear and the opposition to BJP candidates and their frustration are proof of this. He appealed to the people of Hansi constituency to make Congress candidate Ravindra Makkar victorious and contribute in showing the way out to BJP.
