Mumbai, September 17 (HS). The team of Buldhana City Police Station of Buldhana district on Tuesday registered a case against 92 Congress workers including two MLAs of the Congress party for protesting in the police station. All of them had protested on Monday demanding to register a case against Buldhana Assembly constituency MLA Sanjay Gaikwad of Shinde faction, who had announced a reward of 11 lakhs to anyone who cuts the tongue of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.
According to the police, Shiv Sena MLA Sanjay Gaikwad of Shinde group had announced a reward of Rs 11 lakh to anyone who cuts the tongue of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. After this, on Monday, Congress leaders went to Buldhana Tehsil Police Station and demanded to register a case against Sanjay Gaikwad. When the police did not register the case, the Congress leaders started protesting in the police station. Therefore, the police registered a case against Sanjay Gaikwad after about 5 hours. After the case was registered against Sanjay Gaikwad, the Congress leaders and workers left the police station. Today, the police have registered a case against 92 people including Congress MLA Rajesh Akade, MLA Dheeraj Lingade, former MLA Rahul Bondre, Harshvardhan Sapkal etc. on charges of protesting in the police station and violating the curfew order.
