Bhopal, March 6 (HS). On Wednesday, under the chairmanship of Higher Education, Technical Education and AYUSH Minister Inder Singh Parmar, a meeting of the Working Committee and Board of Management of Madhya Pradesh Hindi Granth Academy was held in the meeting room of the Ministry. In the meeting, there was extensive discussion on various points as per the proposed agenda. The budget of Rs 27 crore 94 lakh sixty-eight thousand was approved for the financial year 2024-25 of the Academy.
Higher Education Minister Parmar said that “self-reliance” is a very important context in the implementation of the National Education Policy 2020. In order to implement the Hindi Granth Academy in the direction of making it self-reliant, the marketing system of the Academy should be strengthened and made effective. The books of the academy should be available in every college and university of the state. Ensure easy and timely availability of curriculum based books to students through universities.
He directed the Higher Education Department to coordinate with the Academy and share the number of students admitted in the session on time, so that the Academy can provide books to the students on time. For this, there is a need to prepare an action plan with a business approach.
Minister Parmar also asked to make the academy's bi-monthly magazine “Rachna” inclusive of innovation and compilation of activities of colleges and universities along with its natural format. In the meeting, approval was also given for the publication of a booklet based on the topic “Indian Knowledge Tradition” in the context of the National Education Policy 2020.
In the meeting, Additional Chief Secretary Higher Education K.C. Gupta, Director Madhya Pradesh Hindi Granth Academy Ashok Kadel, Finance Department officials, Vice Chancellors of various universities and members of the Board of Management were present.
