Narsinghpur, 17 September (HS). State School Education Minister Uday Pratap Singh on Tuesday announced to give Rs. 50 lakh for the high school building in Gram Panchayat Rampura in a program to honour meritorious students held at the Government Secondary School Campus Rampura. He said that the high school will be operational here from the next academic session so that the children living in the village do not have to go far away for studies. He also talked about providing 75 desks for the students studying in the secondary school here. Children will now study sitting on desks and not on sackcloth. It is known that 105 children are enrolled in this school.
Addressing the program, Minister Singh said that it is a misconception that a child studying in a village cannot progress. We have many examples before us where the children of the village have proved their talent. These children are today serving in high administrative positions. He said that all schools are good. Our government schools have performed better than private schools. There is a need for teachers to teach children with dedication. The students of government schools of the state have made their place in the merit list of the state. The state government is again working towards establishing education at the government level. Now parents do not need to worry about the education of children. Digital education is being given importance in accordance with the present times.
Wishing the children a bright future, Minister Singh honoured the meritorious students.
