Section 163 has been imposed in the city from September 15 to November 13 due to protests by various political parties and organizations on Barawafat, Eid-e-Milad, Vishwakarma Puja, Anant Chaturdashi, Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti, Sharadiya Navratri and other festivals.

Section 163 of BNS was earlier Section 144 of IPC. According to JCP LO Amit Kumar, under Section 163, shooting with drones will be banned above Vidhan Bhavan and government offices and within a radius of one kilometer. Carrying sharp and pointed weapons, inflammable substances and weapons etc. inside the city will be prohibited.

Traffic banned from Scooter India to Natkur Canal Square till September 16

Due to the construction of an elevated bridge on Kanpur Highway, a mono pole will be installed for 4,40,000 volt electricity supply from 10 am on Sunday to 10 pm on Monday. During this time, traffic will be completely banned between Scooter India Square and Natkur Canal Square (about 200 meters).

– Heavy vehicles will not be able to go towards Scooter India crossing from Natkur Canal crossing. They will be able to come to Lucknow by turning right from Bijnor Thana crossing and can go towards Kanpur by turning left.

– Light vehicles, except heavy vehicles, will not be able to go from Natkur Canal crossing towards Scooter India crossing. They will be able to go towards Lucknow from Natkur Canal crossing via Hydrail Tiraha on the right. At the same time, they will be able to go towards Kanpur from Natkur Canal crossing via Kisan Path on the left.

– Light vehicles coming from Lucknow and going towards Bijnor Thana crossing will not be able to go towards Scooter India crossing. They will be able to go from Hydrail Tiraha to the left of Natkur Canal crossing.
