To start the registration process doctors will need their Aadhaar ID, a digital copy of their MBBS degree certificate and a registration certificate from the State Medical Council, Medical Council of India. Additional details like registration and eligibility can be entered manually. The application is then automatically forwarded to the respective SMC (State Medical Commission) for verification. The SMC will then forward the application to the respective college or institute for further review.
After verification, the NMC will issue an NMR ID. This application will be forwarded to the NMC after successful verification. An NMR ID will be issued by the NMC after verification. During this process, the doctor can also opt to join the healthcare provider registry, which will connect him to the digital healthcare ecosystem, the notice said. Through this portal, all stakeholders, including SMCs and academic institutions, can verify these further applications from a single platform.
