PM Narendra Modi Gujarat visit: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on a visit to Gujarat on 15-16-17 September. During this three-day visit, he will inaugurate houses built under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. So let's meet a family in whose dream of owning a house the government's housing scheme has played an important role.
In a rapidly growing India, a roof over the head of every citizen is the need of the hour. Keeping this in mind, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the PM Awas Yojana. And this scheme is being implemented in Gujarat by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel. The state government is providing financial assistance to lakhs of families to make their dream of home come true. 14 lakh houses have been built in Gujarat under the PM Awas Yojana. Out of these, 1.3 lakh were launched in February 2024 itself.
The Government of Gujarat is working tirelessly to provide housing facilities to the economically weaker sections. More than 1100 houses built by the Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority in Jundal are proof of this. Every house here has excellent facilities like bedroom, drawing room, study room, kitchen and 2 washrooms.
The project has 20 blocks. It has 7 floors. And there are 8 houses on each floor. Facilities like parking make the lives of residents easier. While the solar rooftop helps protect the environment, the children's play area provides space for young children to play.
Bhavna Parmar is one such beneficiary of the scheme and shares her happiness with you. The official associated with the project gave the picture of the entire project. Thus, PM Awas Yojana is playing an important role in meeting the housing needs of the poor and the middle class.
