New Delhi: The Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV is all set to launch in India. The company has announced its launch date, according to which it will enter India on September 16. The standard EQS will be the sixth electric car from the German automaker in India after the EQS Limousine, EQE SUV, EQA, EQB and Maybach EQS SUV. Mercedes-Benz EQS: Exterior
It gets sharper LED headlamps, a blacked-out black panel grille and a horizontal LED light strip at the front. It also gets alloy wheels, slimmer LED taillights with LED light bar, revised bumpers and less chrome, especially at the front.
Mercedes-Benz EQS: Interior
The cabin of the Mercedes-Benz EQS will feature a large single-piece panel called the MBUX Hyperscreen, which combines the instrument cluster, centre touchscreen and co-driver display. There is also an optional head-up display with augmented reality navigation.
Mercedes-Benz EQS: Powertrain
The Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV is available in three variants in the international market, namely EQS 450+ (RWD), EQS 450 4MATIC (AWD), and EQS 580 4MATIC (AWD). In India, the company will offer the top-of-the-line 580 4MATIC model. It will have a dual motor drivetrain of 536 bhp and 858 Nm, which is equipped with a 108.4 kWh battery pack. It will offer a range of up to 609 km.
