New Delhi, September 14 (HS). Safi Muddassir Khan Jyoti, son of former Bangladesh Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, was arrested late Friday night from Uttara area of Dhaka. He was arrested in a case registered at Ashulia police station.
According to the news of the country's leading newspaper Dhaka Tribune, Dhaka District Police Superintendent Ahmed Mueed has confirmed this. He said that Kamal's son Jyoti was arrested at 3:30 in the night. He will be presented in the court today itself. It is noteworthy that after the formation of the interim government in Bangladesh, the arrest of the leaders close to the ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her family members has intensified. The situation became such that Hasina had to resign from the post of Prime Minister and leave the country and come to India.
