External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Friday took a dig at opposition leader Rahul Gandhi. He said that a person has to work hard and not everything comes easily in life. Addressing the Indian community in Geneva, Jaishankar was talking about the basic development done by India and PM Modi's government in the last 10 years.
Talking about the huge human resources required to build infrastructure, Jaishankar said hard work is needed until we develop the human resources.

Rahul Gandhi had promised
During the campaign for the Lok Sabha elections this year, Rahul Gandhi had promised in an election rally that if his party wins, he will transfer Rs 1 lakh to the account of a woman from every poor family in the country. He said that this money will be transferred soon or immediately.
Reactions on India-China relations
Speaking to a think-tank in Geneva, S Jaishankar said that the conflict in the Galwan Valley in June 2020 has had a great impact on India-China relations. He said that after the violence on the border, it cannot be said that the rest of the relationship will be different from this. He further said that talks are going on between the two countries. The Foreign Minister said, we have made some progress. About 75 percent of the issues related to the withdrawal of troops have been resolved. However, he also indicated that there are still some issues that need to be worked on.
