East Champaran, September 14 (HS). The Hindi Sahitya Sabha of the Hindi Department at Mahatma Gandhi Central University was reorganized on the occasion of Hindi Day on Saturday.
Various literary and cultural activities are conducted by students under Hindi Sahitya Sabha. Sunanda Garai has been made the President and Vikas Kumar the Secretary of Sahitya Sabha. Aparajita has been declared Vice President, Joint Secretary Awadhesh Kumar, Treasurer Priyanka Singh, Joint Treasurer Sanjit Kumar and Rajneesh Kumar, Culture Secretary Asharfi Lal, Culture Co-Secretary Kajal Kumari and Rudrani, Literature Secretary Kuldeep, Literature Co-Secretary Ananya Singh and Manu Bhagat, Media Secretary Rajesh Pandey, Media Joint Secretary Anshu and Rupesh, Managing Secretary Anurag Kumar Anand, Managing Joint Secretary Amandeep and Kumari Siya. Muskan Kaushik, Shivani Kumari, Khushboo Kumari, Sanjana Kumari, Lovely Kumari and Jyoti Kumari have been made members of the executive.
On this occasion, Hindi Department Head Dr. Anjani Kumar Srivastava congratulated the new responsibilities of Hindi Sahitya Sabha and while highlighting the objective of Hindi Sahitya Sabha, said that Hindi Sahitya Sabha is playing an important role in the development of literary interest of students. It has proved its usefulness through its programs. The program started with the welcome address of Assistant Professor of Hindi Department Dr. Govind Prasad Verma.
Before the formation, former secretary of Hindi Sahitya Sabha, Sonu Kumar Thakur presented the report of the Sabha and announced the dissolution of the unit. Thereafter, a new unit was formed by the department head. Dean of Humanities and Languages Faculty, Prof. Prasun Dutt Singh, English department head Dr. Vimlesh Kumar Singh and Sanskrit department head Dr. Shyam Kumar Jha also congratulated the new responsibilities holders.
