A teenage girl resident of North Police Station area was going to study tuition on 24 January 2024. During this time, Ravi alias Nania, son of Prem Shankar caught him on the way.
Obscene acts of molestation were done by holding her hand. The girl's mother filed a case in the police station. After investigation, the police filed a charge sheet against Ravi in the court.
The case proceeded in the court of Additional Sessions Judge, Special Judge POCSO Court Number 1 Awadhesh Kumar Singh. Special Public Prosecutor Awadhesh Bhardwaj, who is prosecuting the case on behalf of the prosecution, said that many witnesses testified during the trial. Many evidences were presented before the court. On the basis of testimony and evidence of witnesses, the court found Ravi guilty. The court has sentenced him to 3 years imprisonment. A fine of Rs 3000 has been imposed on him. Ordered to pay 50 percent of the fine amount to the girl.
