Madhya Pradesh has immense potential for exports, startups and industrial opportunities: Minister Kashyap | News India

Bhopal, September 13 (HS). The Board of Trade meeting concluded in Mumbai on Friday, in which the state's MSME Minister Chetan Kumar Kashyap, representing the state, said that Madhya Pradesh has abundant potential for exports, startups and industrial opportunities. He emphasized the state's commitment to promote innovation and development.

MSME Kashyap assured that the state government is committed to provide full support to the stakeholders to facilitate and promote agricultural and industrial exports. The board meeting, held at The Westin Powai, Mumbai, was chaired by Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal.

During the meeting, Union Minister Piyush Goyal elaborated on the Government's commitment to create a conducive environment for trade and exports. The discussion covered a wide range of topics such as the current trade scenario, simplifying export procedures, challenges faced by exporters and possible solutions to overcome the challenges and improving efficiency.

Madhya Pradesh MSME Minister Chetan Kashyap represented the state in the meeting. Principal Secretary, Department of Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion, Raghavendra Singh, Industry Commissioner Navneet Mohan Kothari and Suvidha Shah, DGFT and Executive Director MPIDC also participated. The meeting brought together key stakeholders of the country to formulate strategies and promote India's trade and export scenario.

In the presentation of the state's industrial scenario in the meeting, it was told that Madhya Pradesh is known for its rich agricultural heritage and growing startups ecosystem. Madhya Pradesh is ready to play an important role in promoting the country's exports. The meeting concluded with consensus on the need for continued cooperation between the central and state governments, industry stakeholders and trade bodies to achieve the shared goal of enhancing India's trade and export capabilities.
