A voter awareness program was organized under the Systematic Voter Education and Participation (SWEP) on Friday at the Government College located in village Kharkhra of the district. Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer Abhishek Meena released a song composed by litterateur Satyaveer Nahdia on Friday. ADC Anupama Anjali was also present on this occasion.
The song 'Paanch baras me aavae sa yo vote ka tyohar dikhaye, ek bot tay jeet huwai aur ek tay hoja haar dikhaye…' composed by litterateur Satyaveer Nahadia, prepared with the purpose of focusing the attention of the voters in the assembly general election and the voter awareness song 'Aao sab vote karein, janmat ka samman karein…' composed by spokesperson Sudhir Yadav and songs composed by Manoj Kaushik were also released. Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer Abhishek Meena said that these songs will play an important role in making the voters aware. On this occasion, under the Hindi week being celebrated by Babu Balmukund Gupta Journalism and Literature Conservation Council, the Deputy Commissioner also released Babu Balmukund literature.
The District Election Officer said that participation in the great festival of democracy is the responsibility of all of us. Everyone must vote on the polling day on 5 October. This festival of democracy comes once in 5 years. He said that voters must first find out whether their name is included in the voter list or not. Because no one can vote without the name being included in the voter list. If the name is included in the voter list, then the voter can vote even without the identity card by showing 12 other alternative photo documents. He said that when the message to exercise the right to vote on 5 October reaches the people, only then the objective of Haryana Chief Election Office 'Mhara Vote Mhari Shaan. Haryana Karega Matdaan' will be successful. He said that apart from various social media and media in the district, the message and pledge to vote is being given to the voters with the help of Information, Public Relations and Language Department.
